Translation
UI, dialogue, item text, store pages, patch notes. Glossaries and style guides kept per title, and kept up to date.
Keystone is a localization company that works only on games. Translation, linguistic QA, voice-over and culturalization, handled by in-house linguists who play what they translate.
What we do
UI, dialogue, item text, store pages, patch notes. Glossaries and style guides kept per title, and kept up to date.
Testers who are native speakers check every localized string in the running build: truncation, context, fonts, tone.
Casting, direction and recording through partner booths in each hub, delivered cut and named to your spec.
An early read on symbols, gestures, maps, history and humour that may land badly in a given market, before it ships.
Where we work
About 380 staff across the hubs, plus a vetted freelance network for the less common pairs. Each hub owns a group of languages end to end, so the person reviewing your Brazilian Portuguese is sitting near the people who translated it. More on the hubs.
How we work
We ask for builds, not just spreadsheets. Text out of context is where most localization bugs come from, so translators get access to the game as early as you can give it to us.
Every project has one producer on our side who answers your questions, and a lead linguist per language who answers theirs. We send a short query log each week rather than a stream of individual emails.
We have worked on a few hundred titles since 2012, ranging from small mobile puzzlers to long narrative games with six-figure word counts. We don't name them; our contracts usually don't allow it, and we'd rather keep it that way.
